A New Day with Team Member Self Service

Workday features enhanced Team Member Self-Service to enable success. Tasks and requests for support that were confusing and complicated in our previous systems will now be simple in the reliable, intuitive and best-in-class Workday system.

Workday offers team members convenient self-service for tasks like:

  • Updating or changing personal information
  • Changes to pay, direct deposit or tax elections
  • Voluntary resignations
  • Talent information (skills, preferences, etc.)
  • Requesting medical leave of absence or FMLA
  • Virtual Assistant and the Workday Help module
    for knowledge base articles and tasks.
  • Access to organizational charts and contact information

Team Member Self-Service Process in Workday:

  • Team member initiates task or process in Workday
  • Workday prompts HR when a task needs their attention
  • HR supports, reviews and approves in Workday as needed

Workday offers team members secure, quick and easy access to HR articles, policies, notifications and requests:

  • A Virtual Assistant feature, or chat bot, can answer questions on self-service
  • Some Spanish capabilities are offered based on team members’ set preferences
  • Knowledge-base articles will be available with new process information (by end of Q1)
  • All help case management functionality, tasks and tickets will be within Workday
